Trying to Explain the Directive Function of the Theory on Tian,Di,and Ren in the Practice of Landscape Architecture Construction(1)

"天地人三才之道(简称‘三才之道’)"是我国传统文化的重要组成部分之一。首先对"三才之道"进行了溯源和新解,在此基础上,先后探讨了在景观类型划分、人居环境形成过程、传统园林形成过程中"三才之道"的应用,并从"三才之道"的视点出发总结了风景园林的特征,最后提出了"基于天、地、人的风景园林设计论(或者设计结合天、地、人)"的学术观点。

The theory on Tian（universe）,Di（earth）,and Ren（human） is one of the important composition of traditional Chinese culture.This paper traced back and gave a new explain to the theory firstly.Secondly,based on this it explored the application of the theory in the classification of landscape,the forming process of human settlement and the forming process of traditional gardens.Then the characteristics of landscape architecture were summed up for the perspective of the theory.At last,this paper puts forward the theory of ＂design with Tian,Di and Ren＂.
