1 引言 Web和数据库技术的结合已经成为必然的发展趋势,其原因主要来自这几个方面:第一,信息的飞速膨胀使得原来的以HTML文件为基础的组织机制遇到巨大挑战。大量的文件使得Web信息的管理、更新、查询等变得越来越低效,需要引进数据库技术以改善这种现状;第二。

Accessing database via Web is quite popular a research field nowadays. But in fact the concept of Database Publishing has its special meaning. The paper distinguishes the differences between Web-based database publishing and other conditions of Web-based database accessing. On the basic of providing the concept of publishing, it discusses the model of Web-based database publishing. It also introduces a system that implements the model. The conclusions are valuable for other Web applications and developments.
