Chinua Achebe’s Postcolonial Thoughts and Reconstruction of African Literary Identity

本文分析了阿契贝独特的成长环境对于其后殖民思想形成的影响,指出作家通过改写和挪用帝国语言等策略达到了对殖民话语的消解和颠覆的效果。此外,本文分析了阿契贝后殖民思想对于非洲文学身份的启发,指出只有通过从非洲文化本体的角度出发进行文学创作,才能发出非洲的声音,重建后殖民非洲的文学身份。最后,本文尝试对后殖民时代的非洲文学进行定义。

This paper first analyses the impact of Achebe’s unique formative environment on the formation of his postcolonial thoughts.Then it points out that by rewriting and appropriating the metropolitan language,Achebe deconstructs or subverts the colonial discourse.Furthermore,the present author stresses that only those literary creations from the perspective of African culture are able to give ＂voice＂ to the African peoples and thereby reconstruct the literary identity of postcolonial Africa.Finally,the present author attempts to define African literature.
