Library and Nationwide Reading

"全民阅读"是一项利国利民的社会活动,是一项需要长期努力的文化工程,需要广大民众的参与和支持。图书馆作为全民阅读的一个基础,担负全民阅读的重要使命。分析了我国全民阅读活动的概况,阐述了图书馆的自身优势,提出图书馆在推进全民阅读过程中应采取的6项基本措施。

Nationwide reading is a social activity benefiting the nation and the people.It is a cultural project requiring long-term effort and needs the participation and support of the people.Being as the base of nationwide reading,the library shoulders the important mission of nationwide reading.This paper analyzes the general situation of nationwide reading in China,expounds the advantage of the library,and puts forward six basic measures that the library should take in promoting the nationwide reading.
