This paper reviews and sums up the situation of children＇s invention innovation contest of Taiyuan City in recent years,and puts forward some ideas of increasing the awareness of this contest,working out the encouragement policies,strengthening teachers＇ training,and realizing the organic combination of establishing the pilot school for the education of intellectual property protection with carrying out the invention innovation contest,etc.
