贵州省高校英语专业英美文学课改革刍议

British and American Literature Reformation for English Majors in Guizhou Province

英美文学课对英语专业学生来说至关重要。然而,由于贵州属于偏远的少数民族聚居地,这门课程在贵州省高校英语专业教学中的现状令人堪忧。本文着重探讨适合贵州省大学生英语水平的英美文学课改革,提出开设文学专题选修课作为补充和铺垫,目的在于有效地提高英美文学课的教学效果。

British and American Literature is a core course for English majors. However, the course faces many problems in Guizhou Province due to its economy, location and minority population. This paper comes to discuss the reform of literary teaching for English-majored undergraduates in Guizhou. Offering literary optional course would be a supplement and a preparation for this compulsory course.
