通过探讨《伤寒论》中有关条文,分析其催吐作用、催吐禁忌、止吐功效等内涵。认为催吐和止吐可达到控制体内水液流动的方向和部位,是"控水论"思想的一部分,并与汗法和下法相互衔接和呼应。

This article reviews the items associated with emetic therapy in Treatise on Febrile Disease,and presents its functions,contraindications and antiemetic procedure.As a part of ＂water control theory＂,emetic and antiemetic therapies can regulate the body water distribution.
