作为一种传统民俗的表现形式,庙会在本质上是宗教精神、区域特色、生活习惯、人文传承和经济活动等地方性元素融合的产物。在长期的文化积淀中,庙会反映了一种神圣与世俗的融合,表达了特定地区居民群体的情感诉求。历史上,通过对某种仪式的不断重复与改进,庙会得以融入到一定区域的社会生活和群体心理之中,并深刻地体现出一种强烈的地方性的品格。今天,在现代性的文化力量和解读方式的推动下,在神圣与世俗的张力作用下,庙会的文化角色发生了现代性的裂变。中国传统庙会已经表现出了一种崭新的文化角色和形像,其中的"地方性"品格也面临着全球性文化力量的解构和多元对话的压力。

As a traditional folk-custom,the temple fair was a product of local elements in essence,a mixture of religious spirits,regional characteristics,living habits,cultural heritage and business activities,etc.It gave an index to the coalescence of sacred and profane,expressed a supplication to feeling of specific groups.Through constant repetition repeated in Chinese history,the temple fair revealed itself distinctive local features.Under the modernistic and unscrambling power,the cultural role of the temple fair has changed and is appearing a fission processes to modernity with tensile forces of sacred and profane.The traditional temple fair has showed itself some fire-new cultural characters and figure.The local knowledge will be faced with globalization and dialogue of civilizations
