摘要
在毛姆的创作中,以南太平洋海域和东南亚为背景的作品数量极为可观。文章一方面通过这些作品透视毛姆的殖民主义倾向,另一方面通过考察作家的日常生活解读毛姆的殖民主义倾向,认为毛姆是一位具有殖民主义倾向的作家。
There many novels are about the South Pacific Ocean and South-East Asia in Maugham＇s work.It is claimed that Maugham is a writer with colonialism orientation in terms of the colonialism trend in his works and his daily life.
