Reasons for Unexpected Pregnancy among Unmarried Teenagers and Ethical Countermeasures

目的分析未婚青少年意外妊娠的原因及终止妊娠对身心的危害性,以引起社会对未婚青少年加强性道德伦理教育的重视。方法对西安市中心医院2008～2010年未婚青少年终止妊娠的年龄、孕周、手术方式等进行回顾性分析。结果 2008～2010年未婚青少年终止妊娠3800例,且年龄呈现低龄化趋势。结论未婚青少年意外妊娠呈现上升趋势,严重影响其身心健康,影响其未来生活。因此,应加强青少年性道德教育,以减少青少年意外妊娠的发生。

Objective：To Analyze the reasons for unexpected pregnancy among unmarried teenagers and the physical and mental hazards of abortion, aiming to draw attention to sexual morality education for unmarried adolescences from the whole society. Method：Retrospective analysis is conducted among those unmarried teenagers who received abortions during the year 2008 to 2010 in Xi^n central hospital, with relevant research indexes including age, gestational week, and modus operandi. Result：There are 3800 unmarried teenage abortions from the year 2008 to 2010, and there is a trend of younger age among those teenagers. Conclusion： There is a rising trend of unexpected pregnancy among unmarried teenagers, seriously affecting their physical and mental health and future life. Therefore, the sexual morality education targeted for the unmarried teenagers should be strengthened, to reduce un- expected pregnancy.
