摘要
从现代教育理念出发,论述了自主学习的内涵,从理论及现实角度阐述了英语专业学生自主学习的必要性,提出了应从培养学习者的主体意识和责任感、学习动机、对学习策略的有效应用3方面加强英语专业学生自主学习能力。
The paper explains the contents of autonomous learning in the light of modern education theory and the necessity of developing English majors＇ autonomous learning ability from both theoretic and pragmatic points of view.It proposes that to cultivate learners＇ subject consciousness and sense of responsibility,their intrinsic motivation and effective application of learning strategies are vital in reinforcing their autonomous learning ability.
