基于VAR模型的河南省城市化与经济增长关系研究

ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN URBANIZATION AND ECONOMIC GROWTH IN HENAN PROVINCE BASED ON YAR MODEL

根据河南省1978-2008年的相关数据,采用格兰杰因果关系检验、向量自回归模型(VAR)、脉冲响应分析等方法对河南省的城市化水平与经济增长的关系进行实证研究。结果表明:长期来看,城市化水平的提高有利于经济的增长,而经济增长对城市化水平的提高影响并不显著。

According to the relevant data collected from 1978 to 2008 in Henan Province, the paper uses such methods as Stewart Granger causality test, Vector Autoregressive model （VAR）, impulse response analysis to conduct an empirical study on the relationship between urbanization and economic growth in Henan Province. The findings show that in the long term, increased levels of urbanization are conducive to economic growth while the effect of economic growth on the level of urbanization is not significant.
