中共十二大是我们国家进入改革开放新时期以后举行的第一次党的代表大会。大会提出建设有中国特色社会主义的科学命题,初步形成了中国特色社会主义理论的轮廓,为中国特色社会主义事业的发展提供了思想指针和组织保障。十二大因此成为中国特色社会主义理论的逻辑起点。此后,在中国特色社会主义的伟大实践中,逐步形成了中国特色社会主义理论体系。中国特色社会主义理论体系的形成和发展,在理论和实践上都具有重大意义。

The 12th National Congress of the CPC is the first congress of the Party after our country entered into the new period of the reform and opening up.The 12th congress raised the scientific topic of constructing the Chinese characteristic socialism,and formed initially the theoretical outline of the Chinese characteristic socialism,provided ideological guidance and organizational guarantee for the development of the Chinese characteristic socialist cause.These caused the 12th congress as the logical starting point of the theory of the Chinese characteristic socialism.After that,in the great practice of the Chinese characteristic socialism,the Chinese characteristic socialism theoretical system gradually formed.The formation and development of the Chinese characteristic socialism theoretical system have important meaning both in theory and practice.
