摘要
通过控制结晶法,在一定的搅拌强度、一定的Co2+ 浓度、一定的pH值和惰性气体保护的条件下合成出高纯度和高结晶度的β-Co(OH)2 的片晶细粉。DTA-TGA分析说明其含有少量的结晶水,热分解是分解-氧化过程。SEM 和TEM分析表明其是粒径均一的六方形片状晶体,单晶性好,单晶表面垂直于[0001],边缘垂直于[1010];XRD分析显示,所合成的Co(OH)2 为β型均一单相。此种Co(OH)2 片晶细粉不仅可以用来制备各种钴的化合物,还适合于制备高活性的锂离子电池正极材料LiCoO2。本方法适合于大规模工业化生产β-Co(OH)2。
form cobalt hydroxides were synthesized through a controlled crystallization process under the certain mixing intensity, Co 2+ concentration, pH value and the protect of the inert gas and the products was fine platelet powder with high purity and high crystallinity. The results of DTA TGA indicate that the powder contains small amount of crystal water and the thermal decomposition is a process of decomposition oxidation. The observations of SEM and TEM show that the powder is uniform hexgonal platelet with good single crystallinity. The platelet face is vertical to [0001] and the platelet edges is vertical to [1010]. The measurements of XRD testify that the prepared Co(OH 2) is in homengenous β form. This kind of β Co(OH) 2 platelet powder can be used to prepare not only various cobalt compounds but also high performance cathode material LiCoO 2 for lithium ion battery. The controlled crystallization method is suitable for large scale industrial production of β Co(OH) 2.
