In electric power using present plan-based maintenance,the paper analyses its theory basis,execution effect and service situation of electric installation ,and points out great malpractice on plan-based maintenance.The writer proposes that state-based maintenance is scientific, reasonable and economic,and that on-line monitoring of electric equipment is prerequisite conditions of state-based maintenance.The paper expounds in details all kinds of method of on-line monitoring on electric equipment and related measure of system management.
