英汉时间的空间隐喻化认知对比研究

The analysis of cognitive phenomena as pertaining to temporal spatial-metaphors and their contrasts in English and Chinese

本文根据隐喻认知理论,通过对英汉两种语言中的时间概念空间隐喻化的对比,分析英汉两个民族在时间概念认知模式上的异同,从而更好地了解时间的空间隐喻的实质及文化内涵,以期更好地促进英语学习者对时间的空间隐喻的理解,并以此指导英语教学。

This article,based on the cognitive theory of metaphor,primarily compares and analyses the expressions of temporal spatial-metaphors,tentatively probing into the contrasts between Chinese and English cognitive patterns so as to elaborate upon the essence of these temporal spatial-metaphors,and their connotations as they pertain to culture,as well as improve English teaching.
