坚持群众路线,做好群众工作,是我们党的优良传统,是我们党长期进行革命斗争的经验概括和总结。坚持公安工作中的群众路线,是我国公安工作的必然要求。公安机关依法管理社会治安,是一项具有广泛性和群众性的工作,与方方面面发生着广泛而密切的联系。公安机关是党和政府的执法机关,肩负着维护社会稳定、打击预防犯罪、保护国家和人民生命财产安全的光荣使命。

Upholding the mass line and doing mass work well are both fine traditions of our Party and the condensation and summarization of experience it has gained from long-time revolutionary struggle.Upholding police-related mass work is a requisite for our police work.It is deemed as mass work for police agencies to control social order by laws and keep close and extensive contact with them.Police agencies which are law enforcement institutions of the Party and government assume the glorious mission of maintaining the social stability,combating crime and protecting state and people＇s property.
