摘要 英语教学实际也是跨文化教学。文化差异是跨文化交际的障碍,文化移情直接影响跨文化交际的顺利进行。因此,在英语教学中,教师要利用多种手段培养学生的文化移情修养,通过英语影视作品欣赏、外籍教师直观教学、文化讲座、英语角等课内外活动,使学生认识到文化的民族差异性,尊重对方的文化特点、风俗习惯以及语言所表达的意图,超越本土语言文化定势的心理束缚,逐步提高自身的文化移情能力,避免因文化不同而造成的交际障碍。 English teaching is also doing the intercultural teaching.Cultural differences constitute the barriers of cross-cultural communication,and cultural empathy has a direct effect on the smooth realization of intercultural communication.Therefore,in English teaching,it is of great theoretical and practical significance that teachers employ various approaches to cultivate the students' cultural empathy ability.Students can realize the cultural differences and respect the others' cultural characteristics, customs,and meanings the language transfers by taking part in various activities in class and after class.By watching English film and TV programs,attending face-to-face teaching classes by foreign teachers and lectures on culture,and communicating at English Corner,they can get beyond the psychological restrain from the stereotyped culture of their native language,improve their cultural empathy ability,and avoid the communicative barriers caused by cultural differences.
