借敷设情节 演“识人”意识——兼谈《虬髯客传》的情节艺术

"识人"意识是中国传统文化的重要构成。历代小说对其均有程度不同的表现。诞生于晚唐的豪侠小说《虬髯客传》,可称一篇演绎"识人"意识的典范文本。从情节敷陈看,"识人"意识贯穿情节始终。"识人"场景成为情节的血肉和主体;"识人"意识成为情节进程中的主导因素和叙事的内在驱动力。作者借情节演绎其"识人"意识的倾向十分鲜明。研究《虬髯客传》的情节艺术及"识人"意识,可为经典重读提供新视角,开拓新视域。

Sense of ＂knowing people＂ is a very important part of traditional Chinese culture and it was expressed in different ways to different degrees in the novels throughout history. The Story of Zhang Qiiran, coming out in late Tang Dynasty, can be considered to be a model text of depicting the sense of ＂knowing people＂. From the perspective of plot-setting, this sense penetrates the whole story. The scenes of ＂knowing people＂ are the blood and the main body while the sense of ＂knowing people＂serves as the major element in the process of plot and intrinsic driving power in narrating. It is quite clear that the writer deliberately depicts his sense of ＂knowing people＂ by means of plot-setting. This kind of research can provide a new perspective and open up a new field of vision.
