Errors on Entries of the Titles of Books in Revised Ci Yuan (The Source Dictionary of Chinese Words)

修订本《辞源》所收古书名条目近2000条,基本囊括了经史子集中的四部要籍。这类条目的释文一般包括作者、卷数、内容提要等方面,具有书目导读的作用。然有些古书名条目往往出现疏误之处,或行文倒乙讹脱,或定义释义不当,或卷次著录有误,或作者籍贯不确,需要重新修订。

Revised Ci Yuan （ The Source Dictionary of Chinese Words） has listed about 2000 entries of the titles of ancient books, which cover most of the important classical works, history works, philosophical works, and belles-lettres of the four traditional divisions of Chinese library. These entries for the titles of the ancient books serve as introductions of the authors, volumes, and contents of the books. However, there occur some mistakes in the explanation of these entries such as loss of words, incorrect orders, improper definition, ambiguity in identification of the authors and their geographical locations, and confusion in the volume numbers of the books etc, which demand revision again.
