自然地理界面所处地区因其环境脆弱性常发生自然灾害，并对相邻自然地理系统形成不利影响．在此建造治理工程，是减免自然地理界面及其相邻地区自然灾害的有效途径和措施．中国建造的自然地理界面治理工程大致有水利工程、防护林和基塘农业系统三类，在防治自然灾害、改善生态环境、促进地区经济发展等方面发挥了巨大的综合效益．

Because of the environmental volatility of the physical geography interfaces,there take place the natural disasters in these areas,and harmful effects to the closed physical geography systems.It is the effective ways and measures of reducing and avoiding natural disasters to build harnessing engineerings in the physical geography interfaces.There are three kinds of the harnessing engineerings of the physical geography interfaces in China:water conservancy projects,shelter-forests and dike-pond agriculture systems,and they have played big roles in preventing natural disasters,improving environment and advancing regional economic development,and have got remarkable comprehensive benefits.
