大学英语专业阅读课的调查与阅读策略分析

A Survey on College English Reading and Analysis of Reading Strategies

阅读课是专业英语教学的一门重要课程,适当的教学方法和学习策略可以有效提高学生的阅读能力,从而实现语言的交际功能。以北京师范大学两个年级的英语专业学生为研究对象,通过问卷调查和深度走访的方式获得数据,从教学模式、思路、方法、阅读材料和策略五个方面进行研究和分析,得出阅读在英语学习中起着举足轻重的作用,教师和学生都应该更多地关注课堂教学模式以及阅读材料和策略的选择,从根本上提高学生的阅读能力。

Reading is an essential course for English majors. Proper teaching method and learning strategies may effectively improve students＂ reading ability, thus enhancing the communicative function of language. The study is carried out with the students from Beijing Normal University as participants by obtaining data by questionnaire and in--depth interview. The study is analyzed in terms of five aspects including teaching pattern, thinking, method, reading materials and strategies. We draw the conclusion that reading plays a vital role in English learning; teachers and students should focus more on classroom teaching pattern and the choice on reading materials and strategies in order to improve students＂ reading skills fundamentally.
