内蒙古巴盟地区分离的蓝舌病毒株（ＢＴＶ－ＮＭ）经反转录ＰＣＲ，克隆、测序、进行计算机分析，证明该部分序列与呼肠孤病毒３ 型Ｌ３ 基因组片段有高度同源性，达９１％ ，与ＢＴＶ １７ＶＰ２ 基因比较，一致性为４７％

The 3′ terminal cDNA of the RNA segment coding for VP 2 of bluetongue virus NM isolate has been isolated by reverse transcription PCR cloning. Comparison of the sequence of this segment with that of BTV 17 revealed similarity of 47%, while the sequence was remarkably similar to that of Reovirus 3 L3 genome segment, having approximately 91% homology at nucleotide level.
