摘要
黑塞的长篇小说《玻璃球游戏》对《易经》等中国元素的有效运用,延续了诺瓦利斯、弗·施勒格尔等早期浪漫派作家以诗为手段去包容、内化对立的各个极端的做法。《易经》在小说框架搭建中扮演了醒目的角色,由于它的参与,本可能沿黑格尔轨道辨证发展的小说情节避开了目的论的危险,主人公的成长动机也不再是浮士德式个体精神,而是一种更深刻的对于原初的宇宙关联的顺应。小说成为一个以变化为内在原则的有机过程,也给出了对一个非整体的整体、非框架的框架的暗示,这不但表达了黑塞这部当代教育小说的独特成长模式,也体现了由现代的混乱、对立生出的重新实现和解的努力。
The effective application of such Chinese elements as Yi Jing in Hermann Hesse's novel Das Glasperlenspiel carries on the efforts of the early romantic writers such as Novalis, Friedrich Schlegel to accommodate and internalize the contradictory, conflicting poles. Yi Jing has played a remarkable role in the construction of the fictional frame. Influenced by its idea of changes, the plot has avoided a Hegelian dialectical, teleological route. The maturation of the antagonist is no more motivated by a purely Faustian individual impulse, but by the striving for the authentic universal connection. The novel, as an organic process based on the inner principle of changes, gives us an implication of a not-united unit, not-closed frame. The special development model in this modern educational novel can be considered as an experiment of reconciliation, facing the modern chaos and contradiction.
