机体的免疫系统通过多种机制来调节免疫应答,有效的抵御病原体入侵、维持内环境稳定。淋巴细胞活化基因-3分子(LAG-3)是免疫球蛋白超家族的一员,与CD4密切相关,选择性地表达在活化的T淋巴细胞、自然杀伤(NK)细胞和树突状细胞(DC)中,通过与其配基MHCⅡ类分子结合发挥。免疫调节的功能,维持内环境稳定。与肿瘤、结核等多种疾病相关,它的发现为相关疾病的免疫治疗提供了新的靶点。
The immune system regulate the immue response through many mechanisms, effectively against invading pathogens, maintain homeostasis, lymphocyte activation gene-3 ( LAG-3 ; CD223 ) , a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily (IgSF) closely related to CD4, is selectively expressed in activated T lymphocyte cells , nature killer cells and dendritic cells. LAG-3 binds to MHC class Ⅱ molecules and plays a regulatory role in both immune response and homeostasis of internal milieu. Moreover, LAG-3 is related to the development of tumour and tuberculosis, and provide novel immue therapeutic targets for related diseases.
