Gilfillan's Sociology of Invention:the Early Development of Sociology of Technology

摘要 吉尔菲兰是奥格本时代发明社会学的奠基人,他对发明社会学的研究代表了技术社会学发展的早期阶段,但是他的生平以及研究成果没有得到公正的待遇,一直被技术社会学研究者所忽略。他的发明社会学反对发明的英雄理论,并从发明的社会原因、社会后果、发明的预期等角度展开,论文对这几个方面做了具体分析。 Gilfillan was the founder of sociology of invention at Ogburn generation.His studies on sociology of invention represented the early development of sociology of technology,while his achievements got impartial treatment because the scholars on sociology of technology always ignored them.Gilfillan＇s sociology of invention objected the heroic theory of invention and explored the social reasons,results and prediction of invention.This essay elaborates Gilfillan＇s viewpoints and his achievements.
