One Hundred Anniversary of the Revolution of1911

辛亥革命有一个重要特征,就是它的成败得失是交结在一起的。为此,我们在加以评论时,既不能因为革命党人在革命斗争中取得的伟大胜利,而看不到其中的局限与教训,过分夸大它的胜利成果;更不能因为革命最后的失败,而否定它的重大历史功绩。我们评论辛亥革命,还是要综合运用历史的分析法和阶级的分析法,这样才能接近历史,客观公正。

One of the important features of the revolution of 1911 is that its success and failure is mixed together.Therefore,when we comment on this event,we should not neglect its limitation and exaggerate the victory for revolutionists＇ great achievements;should not deny the significant achievements because of the final failure,but use historical and class analysis.Only in this way can we close to the history and make objective conclusion.
