应用持续质量改进减少外科护士锐器伤的发生率

To reduce incidence of sharp instrument injury in surgical nurses by using continuous quality improvement

目的通过持续质量改进的实施与效果评价,减少外科护士锐器伤的发生率。方法应用PDCA循环进行持续质量改进,强调预防为主,注重过程管理,设定并执行减少外科护士锐器伤发生率的流程。结果经过1年的实践,护士发生安瓿破裂致伤所占总人数比例由92.9%降至60.7%;护士发生锐器伤(除外安瓿裂伤)人均次数由2.3次降至1.5次。结论应用持续质量改进的方法,采取预防为主、注重过程管理,能减少护士锐器伤的发生率从而减少了职业感染的机会及降低血源性传播疾病的发生率。

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the effect of using continues quality improvement （CQI） to reduce the incidence of sharp instrument injury in surgical nurses. METHODS The PDCA （plan-do-check-act） cycle was used to execute the CQI. The precautions were stressed, the process of administration and prevention was paid attention to. The guide line was made and executed to reduce the incidence of sharp instrument injury. RESULTS After practicing the CQI for 1 year, the ratio of injury （by ampoule） decreased from 92.9% to 60.7%; the frequency of sharp instrument injury （except the injury by ampoule） decreased form 2.32 times per person to 1.46 times per person. CONCLUSION Applying the CQI and more prevention measures can reduce the incidence of sharp instrument injury, consequently decrease the incidence of occupational infection and blood transmitted diseases.
