The Influence of Big Earthquake in Northeast of Japan on Japan's and the World's Economy

3.11大地震对日本造成重大人员和财产损失。总体来看,如果核泄漏能够得以控制,其对日本经济影响很大,但程度有限,对世界经济和中国经济的影响也有限。日本虽经历长期萧条,但实力犹在,有足够的能力应付这场灾害。产业链条断裂、停电等造成的影响将是短期的,但是,能源结构调整带来的长期影响以及中长期的财政风险则不可低估。

The big earthquake which happened in the northeast of Japan on 11th, March, 2011 caused serious physical injury and property damages to Japan. Overall, if the nuclear leakage could be controlled, it will produce a big but limited effect on Japan＇s economy, and also bring about limited influence on both the world＇s and China＇s economy. Japan has experienced a long slump, but this country still has power and enough ability to cope with this unexpected disaster. The impact which is caused by the industry chain＇s break and power interruption will be short-term; however, the long-term impact of the energy restructuring and the long-term and medium-term fiscal risks could not be under-esti- mated.
