摘要
目的:研究内源性睾酮对雄性高脂血症大鼠早期动脉粥样硬化形成的影响及其作用机制。方法:雄性Wistar 大鼠随机均分为正常对照组、高脂对照组、高脂去势组( 切除双侧睾丸及副睾) 。实验时间12 周。结果:高脂去势组与高脂对照组相比,血浆总胆固醇(TC) 、甘油三酯(TG) 浓度相差不明显,低密度脂蛋白( HDL) 水平较高,低密度脂蛋白(LDL) + 极低密度脂蛋白( VLDL) 水平较低,血浆脂质过氧化物(LPO) 水平较低;高脂去势组肝脏TC、TG 含量高于高脂对照组,而主动脉TC、TG 含量低于高脂对照组,高脂去势组主动脉内膜粘附的单核细胞数及油红染色阳性泡沫细胞均少于高脂对照组。
AIM:To study the influence of endogenous testosterone on early atherosclerosis in cholesterol-fed male Wistar rats and its possible mechanisms.METHODS:Thirty-six male Wistar rats were randomly and equeally assigned to the following experimental groups:A, regular rat diet; B, a high-cholesterol diet; C, rats castrated with a high-cholesterol diet. All animals were maintained for twelve weeks. RESULTS:Plasma total cholesterol (TC) and triglycerides (TG) levels were similar between cholesterol-fed groups, the plasma HDL level was significantly higher while that of LDL plus VLDL was lower in castrated rats as compared to cholesterol-fed controls, also the plasma value of lipid peroxidation products (LPO) was lower. The castrated rats had significantly higher hepatic lipids contents but lower aortic lipids contents than cholesterol-fed groups, the number of monocytes adhering to aortic endothelium and oil red O positive foam cells were less in castrated rats than cholesterol-fed controls. CONCLUSION:Endogenous testosterone accelerated early atherosclerosis in male hypercholesterolemic rats.
