Improve Peasantry's Legal Awareness for a Further Development of City-countryside as a Whole

提高农民法律意识是推进统筹城乡发展的基础,也是构建社会主义和谐新农村的必然要求。但由于多方面因素的影响,我国公民法律意识发展不平衡,农民的法律意识总体上比较淡薄,与现代法制社会的要求还有很大差距。必须正确认识到提高农民法律意识的重要性,探索多种有效途径提高农民法律意识,促进农村和谐社会的早日实现。

The improvement of peasantry legal awareness is the base of a further development of city - countryside as a whole and the reqtrircment of constructing new socialist harmonious countryside. Many factors lead to the unbalance of citizens＇ legal awareness and ／ the flimsy legal awareness of peasantry, which has big gap compared with the modern society with legal system. It is necessary to correctly recognize the importance of improving the legal awareness of peasantry and to find multiple effective ways for the earlier coming of a harmonious countryside.
