Klotho与2型糖尿病并动脉粥样硬化关系的研究进展

Advances in the Research of Correlation between Klotho with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Complicated by Artherosclerosis

Klotho基因是一种与寿命和衰老表型(如动脉硬化、骨质疏松、肺气肿等)相关的基因,该基因缺陷的小鼠会出现与人类衰老相似的临床表型。Klotho在2型糖尿病及动脉粥样硬化的发病中具有重要的作用。随着老龄化及生活方式的改变,2型糖尿病及动脉粥样硬化的发病率也日益增加,成为影响人类健康长寿的重要因素。现就Klotho与2型糖尿病的动脉粥样硬化关系研究现状予以综述。

Klotho gene is a gene associated with life span and phenotypes of aging,such as artherosclerosis,osteoporosis,pulmonary emphysema and so on.Clinical phenotypes of the mice with the genetic defect are similar to aging in human.There are studies suggesting that Klotho have important roles in the pathogenesis of type 2 diabetes mellitus and artherosclerosis（AS）.Along with aging and changing in lifestyle,the incidence of type 2 diabetes mellitus and artherosclerosis are increasing continuously,which have become important factors affecting human health and longevity.Here is to review on the current studies of the correlation between Klotho and type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated by artherosclerosis.
