The strategy of buliding blue Shandong peninsula economic zone of its own feature in a sustainable way provides a new opportunity for Shandong province to achieve its goal of building economic strong province.Yellow River delta rises up with the development of oil resources and sustainable development is an inevitable choice for its oil industry.This paper first depends on the SWOT analysis to make a comprehensive analysis of the oil industry of this area to figure out advantages and disadvantages of internal environment and challenges and opportunities of external environment for its development.Then on this basis,we put porward some approaches and strategies to promote the sustainable development of its oil industry in the process of building Blue Shandong Peninsula Economic Zone.
