Conflicts Among the Contemporary Chinese Strata and the Countermeasures

改革开放以来,随着我国经济的快速发展,社会结构发生了重大变化,涌现出许多新的社会阶层。由于经济成分、分配方式、利益关系和价值心态的不同,社会各阶层之间的矛盾呈现许多新的特点,正确协调社会各阶层之间的矛盾已成为我国新时期政治生活的一大主题。在坚持社会阶层矛盾属于人民内部矛盾的前提下,要积极维护好两个基本阶层的利益,营造以人为本的阶层合作环境,完善社会保障制度,健全现代社会阶层分化机制,努力构建各阶层和谐共处与诚信合作的良好局面。

With the implementation of the reform and opening-up policy and the rapid development of economy in China, great changes have taken place in social structures and thus many new strata have sprung up. New features have appeared among strata because of the difference in economic components, distribution methods, interest relationships and value outlooks. During the new stage, it has become a major concern in politics to properly coordinate the conflicts. On the premise of the principle that the conflict falls into the internal category, we should actively maintain the interests of the two basic strata, establish the people-oriented cooperative atmosphere, consummate the social security system, perfect differentiation mechanism of modern social strata and try efforts to construct the harmonious and cooperative atmosphere.
