荧光增白剂广泛用于纸张增白。由于它的化学结构和高负电性,使用荧光增白剂不仅会造成生活污染,而且会显著增加纸浆的负电性,干扰其它阳离子助剂,尤其是助留剂的正常使用。

Fluorescent whitening agents（FWAs） have been widely used in the paper industry for improving paper whiteness.Due to their chemical structure and high anionicity,FWAs applied in papermaking can not only pose a threat to the environment,but also result in a significant increase in negative charge of the stock,which can interfere with the use of other cationic additives,in particular the normal use of retention chemicals.
