Key Techniques for Rugged Liquid Crystal Display

摘要 加固液晶显示器在军用和恶劣环境中得到了广泛的应用,它几乎全部由商用液晶屏加固而得到。分析了普通的液晶显示屏在振动、低温、强环境光等条件下无法正常显示甚至会损坏的原因。针对振动对液晶屏的影响,采取增加液晶屏刚性、隔振安装的二级减振结构减轻了振动对液晶屏的影响;采用ITO加热的方法解决液晶屏的低温显示异常;采用在液晶屏表面粘贴减反射玻璃的方法以满足强环境光可视的要求;采用LED背光源发光波长与液晶屏透过特性相匹配和采用相应的光学膜的方法来实现色彩的最佳匹配和亮度均匀。实践证明,采用以上加固处理措施的液晶显示屏可以满足各种恶劣环境的应用。 Rugged liquid crystal displays are widely used in military and severe environments.Reasons for disability in vibration,low temperature,and strong sunshine are analyzed.Two-stage vibration reduction structure is employed to reduce vibrating;ITO heater is adopted to solve the abnormal display of LCDs at low temperature;while anti-reflection glass is sticked on the surface of LCDs to reduce the surface reflection in strong sunshine.LED back light with appropriate luminous wavelength is adopted to match the transmitting characteristics of LCDs so as to get optimal color.Corresponding optical film group is used to realize uniform brightness.It has been found that rugged LCDs employing the above methods can adapt to various environment including military use and severe environments.
