摘要
滤波多音调制(filtered multitone modulation,FMT)技术具有良好的抗多径和信道间干扰的能力,但是作为多载波技术,FMT技术和正交频分复用(orthogonal frequency division multiplexing,OFDM)技术一样有着高的峰均功率比,成为制约FMT技术应用的一个重要因素。本文采用随机信号处理的极值理论推导了FMT信号峰值平均功率比的累积分布函数。分布函数表明FMT信号的峰均功率比的分布和OFDM是相同的,其分布曲线跟原型滤波器的类型、长度等无关。最后通过仿真实验验证了该结论。
Filtered multitone modulation (FMT) technique has good ability on conquering multipath and interchannel interference (ICI). FMT is also affected by high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) just as OFDM, and the high PAPR has weakened the performance of FMT. The complementary cumulative distribution function (CCDF) of PAPR of FMT system is obtained based on the extreme theory. The CCDF analysis shows that the PAPR distribution of FMT is the same as that of OFDM, which has nothing to do with the filter type and length. Finally, the conclusions are veri- fied by simulation experiments.
