长篇语法讲述,可能因抽象而乏味;穿插例句固然给人具体感受,而用例的鲜明与否,有着很大关系。形象、精辟的诗歌和谚语,作为阐明规则的实例,能产生更加生动活泼、引人入胜的讲述效果。本文就新出的《通用英语语法全程》这一方面的实践,论述诗的彩线可以织出锦绣语法图景。
Grammatical analysis in details might be monotonous on account of its being ever so abstract.Surely,example sentences in between can bring some concrete ideas to readers,yet whether the sentences are impressive enough or not makes quite a difference.Poems,and some smart proverbs,may serve as the most effective illustrations.This paper discusses the practice of quoting poems and proverbs in general explanations in a new grammar book.
