The documentary film is a movie or television artistic form taking the real life as its creative source materials,taking the actual events as its reprehensive objects,carrying on artistic processing to it,unfolding truth as its essence,and from reality initiating people to ponder.In nearly one century＇s evolution documentary films which distinguishes dramatically with feature films,has formed the multi-type,variety of schools and patterns,and has left behind the precious spiritual wealth for the modern documentary film＇s creation.In this article the historical description and feature analysis of overseas documentary film＇s style evolution were discussed,further suggested creation strategies for the native documentary films,so as to provide for the native documentary film＇s creators with instructive lesson and reference.
