论宋初小说创作的地域特征及题材选择

On Regionalism and Choices of Subject Matters of the Novels in Early Song Dynasty

由于晚唐五代士人南迁的文化缘由,宋初小说创作具有极其突出的地域、题材特征,是中国小说发展史上非常特殊的一种文化现象。作者以晚唐五代的历史背景及宋初小说文本作为考察对象,根据宋初小说的创作成就,论述了宋初南方作家群形成的历史、文化等因素,笔记体志怪题材的选择体现了乱世文人的宗教情怀及价值观念。

Owing to the southern migration of scholars in the late Tang and the Five Dynasties,the novels in the early Song Dynasty have obvious characteristics of regionalism and similar subject matters,which can be regarded as a special cultural phenomenon in the history of development of Chinese fiction.Through an exploration of the historical background of the Late Tang and the Five Dynasties and of the texts of novels in the early Song Dynasty,and in the light of the achievements in novel creation in that period,this thesis analyses the historical and cultural factors which contributed to the formation of the group of southern writers and discusses the choices of mysterious and supernatural subject matters which reflect the religious feelings and values of scholars in the troubled times.
