This article,based on the translation of cultural studies,narrative reconstruction and Venuti＇s translator invisibility,explores the identity of translator position,discusses the evolution of translator＇s identity issues,which goes from the periphery to the centre,from the hidden to the manifest,varying from ＂the invisible＂,＂slave＂,＂imitators＂,＂tongue＂,＂mouthpiece ＂,to the source text of the ＂manipulator＂,＂traitor＂,＂conqueror＂,＂rewriter＂,＂devourer＂.
