The relation between the compact coefficients of the railway simply supported bridge and continuous bridge under the conditions of express and normal speed train were analysised,and the compact coefficients of the simply supported bridge and continuous bridge were compared.The study results show that the compact coefficients of continuous bridge are smaller than that of simply supported bridge under the same conditions.
