The Positive Power of Mother Tongue for Learning a Foreign Language

人们对于"母语负迁移"这个术语已不再陌生,人们夸大了母语对于学外语的负面影响而忽视了其"正迁移"的"助力"因素。本文多角度论述了母语对于学外文的助力并提出了建设性的建议。

People are familiar with the term of＂negative transfer of mother-tongue＂.However,they often exaggerate the passive effect of native language for learning a foreign language and ignore the helpful factor of＂positive transfer＂.This paper deals with the positive power of mother language for learning another language from multi-angles and puts forward some constructive suggestions.
