Promoting the Internalization of Higher Education with the "bridgehead" Strategy——A Case Study of Qujing Normal University

建设中国面向西南开放的"桥头堡"是国家的重大战略,也是云南省"十二五"时期经济社会发展的重大机遇.桥头堡建设为以曲靖师范学院为代表的新建地方本科院校高等教育的国际化和现代化进程提供了战略机遇.当下,应通过树立国际化的教育理念和加大留学招生力度;不断推进国际化课程体系建设和师资队伍建设,拓展国际交流与合作范围;加快地方高校高等教育国际化进程.

Constructing the southwestern ＂bridgehead＂ in China,which is a great opportunity for the economic development in Yunnan during the 12th five-year plan,is a key strategy for the country.Constructing the ＂bridgehead＂ also provides great opportunity for the development,internalization and modernization of higher education at the newly-built local universities like Qujing Normal University.At present,it is of great importance to establish the concept of internalization,expand the enrollment of oversea students,promote the construction of the internalized courses and teaching staff,and widen the international exchange and cooperative field.
