On Rationality and Human's Living Condition: Weber's Analysis Way

韦伯通过改造近代哲学的理性概念,提出了合理化概念,阐述了社会发展的合理化逻辑,并据此考察和分析资本主义的精神实质、动力机制和根本特征。资本主义合理化过程所导致的人的非理性的生存状态,形成了异质于历史唯物主义的另一种经典的资本主义理解范式,对社会理论特别是西方马克思主义社会批判理论的发展影响深远。

Weber proposes the concept of rationality, states the rational logic of social development and investigates and analyzes spiritual nature, dynamical mechanism and basic feature of Capitalism through the reconstruction of rational concept of modern philosophy. Humang irrational living condition resulting from the process of capitalist rationality forms another classic critique of Capitalism different from historical Materialism, which has profound influence on social theory, especially on western social critical theory of Marxism.
