This paper introduces in detail the second-generation product of large-sized high-voltage three-phase induction motor, i.e. YX series high-efficiency high-voltage three- phase induction motor, and briefly describes the application of auxiliary tools such as finite ele- ment analysis software and 3-D drawing software to this series motors in electromagnetic design and structural design.. This paper also introduces the methods to improve performance and reduce loss and temperature rise of the motors so as to reach the level of high-efficiency saving energy, and states the superiority and advanced technology of this series products.
