摘要
阿尔玛·德·葛瑞恩是当今澳大利亚最富盛名的剧作家之一,其作品风格独特,角度新颖,能准确地反映当代澳大利亚社会的现实问题。本文通过对她的剧作《中国的河流》的双重叙事结构、多种叙事策略以及多元叙事视角等三方面的分析,结合女性主义的相关理论,指出德.葛瑞恩对女性传统角色和男性气质的双重否定,其实是对不合理的父权制的有力控诉,因为父权社会的强大不仅压抑了女性对自我的追求,也限制了男性的自身发展。
Alma De Groen is one of the most brilliant playwrights in Australia,whose works are highly acclaimed for its acute observation of the dark realities and women's dilemma in Australian society.Through dual narratives and the subverted social expectation of "masculinity" and "femininity",Alma De Groen exposes the irrationality of patriarchal society which restricts both men and women in their self-development.This essay displays her creative techniques and discusses women's power in subverting the existing order and their strong desire to have their own egos.
