外商直接投资对东亚技术进步作用的实证研究

An Empirical Study on the Role of FDI in the Technological Progress in East Asia

对1985~2008年东亚的相关数据的分析、研究表明：东亚地区吸引外商直接投资能够带来技术进步。大多数东亚国家（地区）吸引的外商直接投资是通过直接效应而较少通过间接效应来促进本国的技术进步,东亚需要加强自身的研发能力和技术吸收能力。我国需要制定合理的措施,如改变传统的招商方式,注重引资质量,加强自主创新能力以及合理把握外资的流向,更好的发挥外资对我国技术进步的作用。

Using the related data about East Asia from 1985 to 2008,this paper gives an empirical study on the role of foreign direct investment in East Asia＇s technological progress.This study has the following conclusion： Foreign direct investment can bring about technological progress in East Asia.Most East Asian countries（regions） encourage foreign direct investment to have the direct effect through technological progress.East Asia needs to strengthen its own R D capability while learning from other countries.China needs to work out reasonable measures,such as changes in policy for inviting the traditional investment,emphasis on the quality of foreign capital and their own innovative capability as well as the reasonable distribution of foreign capital,which can bring all the potential of foreign capital into full play for China＇s technological progress.
