本文首先简要地回顾了超声治疗的发展历史。继而介绍了本世纪九十年代初,在国际上兴起的旨在用于治疗肿瘤的高强聚焦超声(HIFU)无创性外科技术及其历史背景,最后作者重点论述了我国在研究、开发与临床应用HIFU技术方面一举跃为世界领先地位的迅速发展形势、并展望了HIFU的广阔发展前景。

In this articlwe the history of therapeutic ultrasound is briefly reviewed at the first, and then the rise of HIFU in the world at the begining of nineties and its historical background are described. Fanaly the author emphatically show that the development of HIFU in China has reently won the advanced position over the world. The perspective of HIFU technique is also discussed.
