This paper reviewed the sampling and trapping methodology and principles for monitoring the movement rate, direction and distance of arthropods between habitats in rice ecosystem. Some case studies were cited for a clear explanation of monitoring protocol to facilitate the field carrying out of arthropod trapping and sampling.
